Adopt a youth-sensitive intersectional approach

Assembly gesture

Assembly gestures are a set of arm and hand movements that can be used in meetings to silently improve communication and interactivity, especially when the assembly is large. It is useful for encouraging young people to express a request or indicate a feeling (e.g. explain a misunderstood term), especially when they are shy or do not dare to speak.
